Adaptive Leadership is More than just Leading from the Front

It can be lonely at the top and many leaders express frustration in not having a co-equal thought partner in making strategic decisions. Professional and personal blind spots can prevent leaders from making the right decisions for their organizations. Camino challenges its leaders to become not only better leaders from the front, but also and equally important to know when its best to lead from behind and from the side, all of which is anchored from within.  Jeff seeks to not only redefine one's leadership compass but to also to gain self awareness, identify blind spots, and increase one's emotional intelligence. Jeff has provided coaching to aspiring leaders in their sectors as well as those with decades of experience.  He serves as a thought partner, coach and mentor during the entire engagement but the experience is actually led and defined by the client. Jeff's overall philosophy on leadership is there is his way, her way, and your way but there is no THE way to lead. The engagement begins as an empty vessel and its up to the client, with Jeff's guidance, to decide how to move in and fill that vessel.

"As a new CEO, I found that I had limited opportunities for learning how to navigate my new role.  Working with Jeff, I found someone who was going to challenge me to see new perspectives to situations, push me to evaluate a situation on a deeper level, and ask the hard questions that allowed me to stretch myself as an Executive.  Jeff’s approach is firm but compassionate, he’s a teacher and a listener, he offers guidance not advice so I could find my own resolution;  but  most importantly he understands the responsibilities and the situations that you may encounter because he also is a CEO.   Because of my coaching sessions with Jeff I am a more confident leader."
